There Is No Saffron Terrorism: Guruji

GWALIOR | MAR 05, 2011: "There is nothing like saffron terrorism....A saint can never be a terrorist, but the possibility of an extremist being active under the guise of a 'sadhu' can not be ruled out," he told reporters here, answering a question.

A saint can never be a terrorist and there is nothing like `saffron terrorism' in the country, said Sri Sri Ravishankar, the spiritual guru, here today.

"There is nothing like saffron terrorism....A saint can never be a terrorist, but the possibility of an extremist being active under the guise of a 'sadhu' can not be ruled out," he told reporters here, answering a question.

He was in the city for his `Art of Living' programme.

On corruption, Ravishankar said that he had joined hands with the Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and some others to fight the menace.

Under the campaign to fight corruption, placards stating "I don't take bribe" were being distributed to government officials with the expectation that they would display them on their tables, he informed.

Wiping out the corruption tops the four resolutions of Art of Living programme, he said.

Ravishankar also wished the Team India luck for tomorrow's match with Ireland, but said the sport had become too "commercial"
